During WW2 and conflicts up to this day checkpoints were used to secure military installations or other important objects. They were also used to stop and search the local populace for weapons and capturing resistance fighters and/or deserters. Or it was simply set up to keep the local populace from leaving a certain area like e.g. in the Warsaw ghetto.
This model includes a stop sign in Russian, German and English. We can do any other text you supply for a small up charge, with size being the limiting factor.
